Nissen Family Circus Display.
A big thanks to my freind Barb Jones for the following information.
"The layout was built by Paul Nissen , with help from Helen Nissen with the tents (his mother) and his father helping build the tables Paul Died in 1984. He was working on an HO circus layout when he attended the 1976 TTOS convention with his brother, David. He met the McCoys and bought every circus car they brought to the convention. He worked on things for the circus even through many hospital visits.
The layout lives with David Nissen, Paul's brother. It was last put up in 2003 at the TCA convention in Ontario. This time David and Carol Nissen were helped by their two boys, Scott and Eric, by mother Helen Nissen, sister Becka Nissen and her son, Eric's step-son Andrew, and Barbara Jones. Assembly began Friday at 9:30 a.m., and it was almost finished by 6:00 p.m.
"The layout is put up in Paul's memory every few years by family and friends."

Thanks Allan. All the compliments go to the Nissen family and Barb Jones. Our layout was right next to this one so I had ample opportunity to watch and video.

Nice display! McCoy made some nice equipment, I have a couple of his cars. Too bad the company is now out of business.

McCoy made some interesting stuff. Mrs McCoy was at the meet sitting by the layout quite a bit of the time.
