Bro, before you pick up the pipes, get ready for a long journey. I've been piping about 18 months seriously at this point, and it's not a cheap hobby. Unlike guitar, where you can buy your first set up(amp, ax, and accessories) for under three hundred, a basic set of blackwood pipes will cost you about 1000$ us. If you do decide to learn, find a band to tutor you. Good Luck bro, it is a very rewarding hobby. Peace out Bro.

you sound good, i am in the nassau county fire fighter pipes and drums and my dad is in finn fury he is the drummer. i been in the band for 8 years, you should come down and join the band

Thanks for the comment bro, means alot. The newer version is EQ'd, so the pipes don't sound so "off." You guys are my inspiration to my piping. Sadly, NY to NH is a long trip. Peace bro, and keep pipin'

i don't feel like f*cking with my chanter and drones to make it match the recording, but i guess i could have f*cked with the eq on the recording, running it through a line instead of the tape in. Boost the high, lower the low end, and keep the middle about 3/8ths of the way
