  • @dentexperts why not use a actual piece of door panel? i've heard the term "memory" on metal, never on a piece of clay. I'm a glass installer (wouldn't dare to call myself a autoglass technician, even thoght a been fixing "technicians" crappy autoglass installs, cause i'm proud of what i do) and would like to properly learn this trade, to me it is really fascinating, and i bet there's plenty of pdr "technicians" just like in my line of work, but not that many worth of being call Technician.

  • nice work

  • like to see how you find your tip

  • That is great if you can gain acess. I have been using rubber tips, my hand or tape for years. If you cant fix a dent using a pick or sharp tool early in training you will be cheating yourself imho. You will loose many jobs due to acess limitations. Finishing a dent and fixing a bad repair requires detailed pushes.Try that on a door with laminated glass and you will lose money. It is great if you can get that oaf on a dent but....

  • I fix dents with sharp tools every day. Just because you can't, doesn't mean someone else can't.

  • Sal thank you, I've been watching your video's. Very helpfull. I;m a panelbeater in Greece the town is Igoumenitsa.Where could I look up the price of dent dial

  • Super !! je ne comprends pas l'Anglais mais j'ai compris avec cette vidéo interressante.

    Merci

  • FINALLY!! Hey Sal... really like your leather and rubber demo!

I absolutely agree on the initial process of working the dent should be done WITHOUT pointy tools, and having the light close up in the beginning. But, the need to 'fine tune' can ONLY be done with fine tools (from a distance). gottcha by 2 years....LOL
