I agreewith the difficulty in believing in manifestation of phenomena by spirits; to me, it makes more sense to alter one's own consciousness in such a way as to manifest that awareness, as it were, in the world of the spirits; in other words, you have to go to them, rather than they to you, after all, you are the one wishng this! All of this is a bunch of GARBAGE - The Secret is Bunch of GARBAGE Period!! I know from someone who was very close to me so don't try to sugar-coat this cult or should I say occult. True Christianity has never been changed and never started in Rome, another cult who has the largest set of occultic books in the world. If you want "truth" you won't get it from this organization.

@2bless8 er, actually, the original teachings are from the "God" of the Bible. The "original" teachings. Like everything else, even Christianity, has been changed and manipulated. The "secret" books? Are you talking about the Manisfestos? Those books are not secret and they are freely distributable. If you know other books, tell us where/what they are. There are many branches off the original teachings, just like Christianity. Making a broad statement like that, is wrong and unfair.

From my understanding, AMORC is a branch of the original Rosicrucian teachings. It's roots are from Egypt, and if I'm not mistaken, the teachings are based off of Akhenaton's Mystery Schools from Egypt of the 18th dynasty and forward. I don't know what's been changed, but hopefully these teachings are still pure as they were meant to be.
