I have discovered a glitch / bug in ios 5.0.1 Siri which allows you to type a question with the ios keyboard rather then ask siri the question with your voice. This adds support for people with accents that siri doesn't understand or makes a lot of mistakes with such as scottish, northern irish and other dialects. This seems to be an unnofficial problem and might get patch by apple in the near future. If you have an iphone 4s check is out here is the instructions:
1. Open siri
2. Say a random word, in the case of the video i said "Random" but you can use any word
3. Quickly tap the speech bubble with the word you said before siri has time to reply ( demonstrated in the video)
4. Type any question and click done.

Siri will respond to your question. Any questions please ask and dont forget to subscribe like and comment!

  • @AppleTechHelper I dont know what it is but it hasnt been talked about by apple or any tech blog and it extermly useful for people who cant use siri because of their accent

  • You said in title glitch... I don't think it's a glitch.

  • @besterthenyou It isn't documented by apple and nobody has posted it anywhere online it seems to be an unintentional bug in siri

  • I think it's not a glitch, it's a function

  • I thought people knew that you can change Siri's voice.

  • hey wait Siri is a woman

  • @AppleTechHelper apple tech helper??? wtf hahahhahah what a moron

  • I Thought Siri Was A Girl

  • Haha, it's not a glitch.

  • How can i instalwd

  • @Lickmytech it can't be a glitch, because you can't unintentionally make a button clickable, you have to specifically program it to be clicked.

  • lol u cant really call that a bug or glitch..siri converts ur words into text which then appear on the screen..but ofc if u interrupt it and change the converted text and change it,bcoz siri is what we call ''intelligient'' assistant,it will then intelligiently change the answer bcoz the Q was changed..just like normal conversation between humans..if it didnt changed the word intelligient would be a fail.and thats a thumbs up..although siri is still in beta more improvements to expect :D
