  • @masentka The knife is used to pare down the leading ends of the feather so they gradually taper down into the shaft. The foam sanding block is what I use because I have a bag full but sanding paper can be used just as well, take note of the angle used when sanding. It's not flat or you cut into the feather.

  • So do you just cut the end of the fletching off? I got some of the fletching from my arrow jammed into my hand after I shot one of my arrows.
