no because i have a 9month irish terrier, and they do not lose their fur much so yur dad shud b fine

Hi I am allergic too! My mums German Shepherd use to make me sneeze for hours after I patted her. I have never experienced this with my Irish Terriers so I think your dad will be ok.

They are best! Positives - very friendly, great with kids, adorable personality, very intelligent,easy to train.
Negatives- strong willed, doesn't like cats very energetic, ear training. Overall, apart from the ear traing and stripping his coat every 3 months they are a low maintenance dog that are loyal and an absolute pleasure to own. You won't be dissapointed!
