This is a remake of ZX-Spectrum arcade game Chase HQ for "General Sound" soundcard produced in ex-USSR for ZX-Spectrum clones.

You can play it with Unreal 3.73 emulator. You can also try Spectaculator, but its support for General Sound may be bugged.

General Sound adaptation is made by Mike Blum.

The only hardware supporting this software is NeoGS soundcard:

Order one for your ZX, it's worth it!

  • @jamyskis Probably 1998, like it says at the start of the video, about a year after Carmageddon came out.

  • That "oh, shit" was taken directly from Carmageddon. Which begs the question - when was this remake made?

  • Great sound! Especially the "oh, shit!" :)

  • it sounds great with that sounds fx :D

  • Hehe, you finished with one second left. :D

  • I used to have to play this on a black and white TV. So i guess i don't remember this game being low in colour like that. Oh and while i am here! I spelled Colour the correct English way! so this is a message to youtube to fix it! also youtube even gets the wiggly red line under it! thanks for putting this video on. Oh ya better check my ZX loading sound remix.
