  • Love the Montaigne cite! I just got around to reading Dalrymple's "Not with a Bang..." and really liked the essay on the topic of expression. Keep up the good work!

  • I have always found it amusing that in the feminist mind there is an UN-mistaken desire to become more masculine leaving behind and lashing out at any who would dare associate them with what which would be known as feminin, all the while demonizing masculinity but only for men. yeah what a weird miserable existence this must be-

  • You are right to express your pride of your heritage, of your country, of what you are. Its really important to fight against shame and bad stereotypes; those are poison for the mind.

I agree with you. To convince your enemy of his mistakes is not the ultimate goal when it comes to debate with him, especially when this enemy answered with a patent insincerity. The most important is to be able to express your thoughts, and stand. Violence is never a proof that ones right.

  • You are so correct.

  • Whether an argument or debate can ever change a person's mind is solely determined by a person's ability to be self-honest. How many times in your life have you gone back to a person to tell them, they were right about an idea you disgreed with? If you're like me, hardly ever. Speaking the truth does matter, and if you see no evidence of it making a difference, that doesn't mean that it isn't. Remember, there's a Judas in every gathering of true believers, and a St. Paul in every opposition

  • I honestly don't know. I guess I'd try to move to Mexico or Argentina if the US got that bad. That would sadden me but I have a self-expression problem that won't go away. I'd probably go back to writing fiction.

  • I love those guys but they receive no coverage here in the US. From what I've read, doing just about anything can put you in the gray area there.

  • so true

  • yep.

  • When some lunatic commits violence over a conservative issue, the finger is pointed at everyone.

There was a black church burned in my town (in Massachusetts!!) 2 hours after the election results were announced. All I could think is "more ammunition for those who want to paint everyone as a racist"
