Gary W. Jay, MD, DAAPM, FAAPM, Medical Consultant, Raleigh-Durahm, NC, talks about the most common pain symptoms in cancer patients after they receive treatment.

Dr. Jay says the most common form of post cancer treatment pain is neuropathy. It is often a peripheral or "stocking glove" neutopathy. The reason for that is because of neurotoxic chemotherapy.

He adds that radiotherapy and surgeries may also cause pain.
