@eightfivenine Do you think, just maybe, you can post a video tutorial? I would appreciate it sooooo much, more than you can imagine... Pretty please with sugar on top?....

you guys are mentally challenged. ITS CALLED A COVER FOR A REASON!

kudos for having the courage to cover the song. you did a great job playing and singing the song, but i personally believe that you should have stuck to the original lyrics. but you did a great job nonetheless and ity was cool that you made it your own.

@keemer08 - Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I can see your point, but at the end of the day I like to think that if the original artist (in this case Andy P) listened to one of my covers that they would like it. Whether they would or wouldn't I'll probably never know but I would hope that they realize I'm only covering their song because I love it. No slap in the face is intended :)

@CeeMik1888 I agree. But changing the lyrics is a slap in the face to the artist. You can change tempo, key, time signiture, but not the lyrics. I think 859 would agree. Look at all at the great covers: Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah or Gary Jules - Mad World or Johnny Cash - Hurt. The tempo, key and time sig were all changed but the lyrics (apart from Jeff not using some of the original verses Leonard wrote) were untouched. You just dont change them.

@keemer08 The idea of a cover is to take the original song and make it your own, and if that means changing lyrics, so be it.

disliking douchebags

if your gonna cover it, sweetsauce. but cover it with the right lyrics man. Dont disrespect them by changing the lyrics. good cover though, minus the wrong lyrics.

That is one sick cover!!! Can you send the cords for it my way?

@Sonyphilia - Thanks for the feedback. The song is a bit tricky to play so it would be difficult to teach you via text. The song is played in A minor but I'm not sure if my guitar was in proper tuning when I played this so you might have to tune your strings down a bit if you want to play along.
