@LauieChan They do it all of the time in the wild. That's how they communicate and it's also how they express themselves. The behaviors that SeaWorld trains are based on the natural behaviors that are seen in the wild, and some of the behaviors that they see the whales do while playing with each other. At most, the behaviors are extensions of the behaviors they perform in the wild.

@LauieChan I knew the nodding thing was trained, it was too exaggerated not to be. But the rest was pretty convincing! :)

@loopyallie1 Of course they were trained, lol. They would never do that on their own, and that's what makes it sad and pathetic. See the trainer nodding vigorously to get the orca to nod? =/
