@LauieChan They do it all of the time in the wild. That's how they communicate and it's also how they express themselves. The behaviors that SeaWorld trains are based on the natural behaviors that are seen in the wild, and some of the behaviors that they see the whales do while playing with each other. At most, the behaviors are extensions of the behaviors they perform in the wild.

the trainers and whales have a bond but they still have natural instincts
