No one was objective, least he had a real reason to pick Obama instead of just saying oh, I don't like or agree with McCain and he isn't likely to make the country better but I guess I could vote for him and Palin (don't get me started on her) because they're the best the Republican party could come up with.

Quint: I didn't say anything about Barack being a muslim. I said Powell thinks it's ok to have a muslim as president and I think that would set women back 1,000 years or more as well as gays.

As for Obama's qualifications: The Chicago Machine (of which he is a product) is corrupt. period. People outside of Chi-town are beginning to see that now.

I am not sure if Powell lied or not. It's a tough call. He was presented with certain things that he was told were true. There is a good chance he lied, though. I don't get bringing up the Muslim part since Barrak is Christian and Muslims don't consider him to be Muslim. It's not like being Jewish where if you're born one, you die one. Many Baptists have Catholic grandparents. Hey, Obama is qualified for the job, is well-spoken, experienced, and I hope he will do a good job.

Quint: There are all kinds of groups that need to make strides. We would all advance if we judged based solely on qualifications and whether people have humanity at the forefront of their values.
