As we approach the estimated zero point of 2012 and a reality refresh, let us consider the pros and cons of the use of certain 'drugs' to aid our consciousness in getting there (by those who wish to experiment with such).

Cut together from Alan Watts' 'Turning The Head (On Drugs)' with musical backdrop by Kazufumi Kodama ('Half Moon') and Zoned Out (instrumentalised dance version of Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit'). Thanks as always to all borrowed from for this video infomation mash up.

If anyone didn't know and happens to be interested:
LEGAL psychedelics at the present time (in a large part of the world) include LSA (hawaiian baby woodrose seeds, morning glory seeds), salvia divinorum, fly agaric + peruvian torch cactus.

  • music is to loud

  • @MoralisticAthiest In the words of Ken Kesey, " Why is it that people think its so evil? (mystical/psychedelic experience)What is it that scares them so deeply? Is it because they are afraid, that there's more to reality, than they had confronted (fear of unknown); that there are doors that they're afraid to go in, and they dont want us to go in there either because if we go in, we might learn something THAT THEY DONT KNOW, and that makes us a little out of their control."

  • You shouldn't have put music in the background. Good video though. Thank you :)

  • Could have done without the tripy shit but I tuned it out ,, I love this guy we could really use his input now days

  • I love how the music jumps in at 5:30...party time :D

  • Couldn't enjoy it music too over powering for me.

  • i can't do it,i find myself trying to listen to both words and music. bummer,i hope some one else has posted this , i would like to hear it.

  • why is it most of these videos with someone lecturing or speaking have music in the background? isn't his words enough? with my brain,i can't concentrate on the words,it totally screws it up for me. thanks for posting though, just letting it be know all our brains don't work the same here. others seem to like it though. i shall try to listen again and separate the two.

  • music in the background is annoying...

  • Alan Watts on Drugs, the original highDEA

  • Ugh, this music is so annoying. I would much rather prefer just the speech.
