Key West and the Florida Keys

Recorded December 25, 2005. Video begins in the Atlanta Airport as I wait for my flight to Key West. After a short segment from the plane as we land in Key West the video shifts to the streets of Key West. First we see my hotel, the Casa Marina Resort along the Gulf of Mexico followed by the monument that marks the southern most point in the continental United States. There are views from the top of the Key West Lighthouse before I head out of town on U.S. 1 through the Florida Keys. Honestly, this is not my best work, but it was the only video I captured from Key West.

This is all so familiar.Lived in Key West for a year 74-75..Husband in Navy. Spent some beautiful times there but it was so hot and it never rained. I could stand the heat tho once I got use to the climate. This all looks so real to me.. I can almost smell the way it smells in KeyWest, Have sat right beside the 90 mile sign to cuba. long ago and far away..

@jkbnumber1 2005, the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico is still probably still stirred up by all the Hurricanes in the Atlantic Basin
