The Smack-Off is an annual competition which began in 1995. Hosted by syndicated talk show radio personality Jim Rome, Jim recognizes the best-of-the-best.

This is Smack-Off #16 and the defending champ couldn't go back-to-back and took the 8-spot.

Thanks for the upload. Brad should've won or even Jay Mohr. I think Brad got 8th because of DP rant, radio guys must have some sort of code. DP blast was too funny!

Thanks for posting this! I think he should have been in the top 4 but I can understand why he did not win. It was not as good as last years but it was still good and he should have not been 8th!

My local station took Rome off the air and replaced him with Dan Patrick. That's the worst idea since showing up to a party with a boner in sweatpants. I know saying something "sucks" is not a take, but I think an exception should be made for DP

@HuskerFanatic Not saying anyone has to like any particular caller, just saying that he's very obviously one of the best smackers in the known universe. I am not a *fan* of Vic in No Cal, but I can admit he's a hell of a caller and a worthy Smackoff champion.

@KushPizzaSleep I would be reminisced if he didn't come up with another DP-related blast (slanged out) if he can do it again without getting run. he should do that again. If he mixd in more originality than the "rat-family" voice impersonations he does every year, he has a shot. then again he didn't respond to a clone take earlier so the xr4ti thought he had a written take before

@HuskerFanatic there were plenty of pauses and uninspired moments througout, where as vic actually blasted callers with decent takes, and multiple other personalities in succession with relative ease.. although that one brad in corona take wasn't great in comparison, the other takes were original and got him that win.

@celkins I lost a lot of respect for Brad this smackoff. To me he's the Sidney Crosby of the Jungle and that's not a compliment. One hit wonder who I predict never ever sees the smackoff title again. Vic is the deserving World Heavyweight Champion like it or not.
