Leesti !
The real hardcases would have headed straight for Riedquat. Docking a Jameson there was a real challenge. I did it a few times on the Elk. You could leave Lave as 'Harmless' and be 'Above Average' by the time you docked! However, more often than not I ended up as a stream of floating space dust.
Thanks anyway for the nostalgic moment.

I just saw this game in a documentary. I'm amazed; it's such a shame to look at what became of such a revolutionary idea. Greedy companies with too much money hired a bunch of code monkeys to make games for profit; no inspiration needed.

It seems that planet may be just a legend after all.
I've added some music to this video and posted it as a response.

Check out SteveBenway's video, he did just that.

Does anyone know what galaxy the legendary planet called Arse is in?

Nicely docked. I thought you were a goner.
Any chance you could do another Electron - Elite video? I'd like to see you attack the Corolis station and get engaged in a Viper fight!
Best ever RADAR screen

Not only is it genius, but collecting the information required to draw it is a natural consequence of the way the 3d engine works more generally.

Didn't the 'J' key 'jump' to get you to the Space Station faster?
Awesome game

Yep, that's what I'm doing somewhere around 1:37 — the beep that comes just after that is the warning that you can't jump any further because you are too near to another object.
Braben & Bell were geniuses...

You are right, sorry missed that. Without doubt, the finest trailblazing game ever! It owes me 5 good years of my life.

Then my tip is: don't download Oolite. That's another few years gone right there.
