i'm 'a totally fighting game noob but since i like persona 4 i'm willing to invest some time into it, so i was just curious what all that number language is that you put in the comments. i'm sure its the button input for the combos.

Yep, it's the combo notations for this video. At some point, we'll replace the Japanese with the actual moves translated. This game seems very beginner friendly, so you should have a fun time breaking into it. Not to mention it's the P3 and P4 characters :)

Only beginner friendly if you play like a beginner or against other beginners. The finer mechanics and input times + frames are actually more finnicky than most fighters except maybe KOF.

Too bad it doesn't seem like she has any good mid-screen combos without having to use burst or fatal.

Good luck! (also about the fight-stick, if you really are dedicated go for it! but fight-stick doesn't automatically mean better and you don't need a fight-stick to be good (or even the best) Have fun.)

what MidnightArena is. More breaking down each input means exactly this:

* Look at your number-pad (the 9 number keys to the right of your arrow) they correlate to directions of moves.

6 = forward, 4 = back, 2 = crouching(down), 8 = jumping(up), 3 = down-right, 9 = up-right and so on.

ABCD refers to the button inputs: The game is not out on consoles yet so we'll have to wait for it to come out.

6B would most likely equal on PS3/Xbox-360 controller: Forward-Triangle/Forward-Y.
