That is a Boxster, not a Boxster S in the video. Boxster S has a center vent in the front grill. The 350z beat a 2.7 Boxster. Big deal.

Even the Japanese don't rate the 350z - it's a dog of a car to drive anywhere near the limit. The Boxster however, is in a totally different class, and is respected by anyone who knows about cars. A drag race between these two cars is an insult to Porsche.

The Porsche has much better handling as a mid engine car. It's weight distribution is better. Plus you can't call a Boxster a ricer ;)

@EverydayPorsche Ummmm....for the cost of the vehicles brand new, I think the 350Z is a much better car. Now even if you wanted to go with new 2011 models. The 370Z would still beat a boxster but only worse for $20k less than a boxster. So what is better in the boxster? Not one thing. So how can you not say the Z is a better all around car, including the price, if I spent the same amount of money on a Z, the Z would be beating 911 turbos. It is Proven Fact.

@clu4u Yeah big deal, the cost difference is around $20,000 more for the Porsche, come on, a Nissan, tore up a Porsche, for the price, it should not have even been close in the Porsches favor, but the 350Z took the Porsche to school.

The GT-R was NOT the first production car lapping the Ring in under 8min... the GT-R doing that laptime was heavly modified and british car magazines tryed to redo the claims and all they reached was 8:20 to 8:30min laptimes with northloop expert race drivers at the wheel in real stock production cars. The 1992 Jaguar XJ220 with John Nielsen at the wheel reached a 7:46.37min long befor the GT-R
