The Johnny *Cash* Challenge *Win Prizes*

NOW IT'S TIME TO START VOTING!!!
Please read the voting rules near the bottom of this description.

There will be two prizes.
$25 goes to the person who does the most accurate cover of the song "I've Been Everywhere Man" as Johnny Cash sang it.

and

$25 goes to whoever does the best comedic and/or creative interpretation of the song.

Entry Rules:

1. The contest will run for exactly 1 month from the time this video is posted. (That would be 11pm United States Eastern Standard Time on December, 7th.)

2. Your entry can either be with or without music. I don't have a link to any music.

3. It really does need to be YOU singing. If you're someone who doesn't generally show your face on YouTube that's fine. You can still make a video. It still needs to be YOU singing though. If you're going for or adding a comedic/creative slant it's permissible do some sort of photo or video montague' as a background, and it's permissable to electronically alter your voice for comedic/creative purposes if that's what you want. If you want to do this as part of a duet or group that's fine, but just don't go out on the web and rip off someone singing the song. You'll need to gather together your fellow singers yourself. Preferably other YouTubers or family members and not ringers.

4. These *should* be NEW videos made specifically for this contest.

5. I *Personally* will not disqualify anyone for violating these rules. I ask you the viewer-voters to be aware of the rules and to vote accordingly. It is you the viewer-voters who will be the final judges via your votes. If someone wins the vote who falls outside the parameters of the afforementioned rules then that person will STILL be declared the winner because you the voters are also the de facto judges of ultimate eligibility via your votes.

6. Multiple entries are permitted. If you do multiple entries at least try to show a bit of a different look or style with each of them however.

Voting rules:

1. Before the voting period can commence I need to have at least 10 entries. If I don't get 10 entries then the contest will remain open until I do get 10 entries.

2. The 2 winners will be decided by comment votes.

3. The voting Will not commence until AFTER the deadline for entries has passed. When the deadline for entries has passed I'll make a reminder video to remind people to come back to this video and vote.

4. The voting period will last for exactly 1 week after the entry deadline. Only votes cast during this one week period will be counted.

5. Please vote only 1 time for the best song and 1 time for the most comedic/creative song. Even if you have more than one channel please just use one of those channels to do your voting. You'll be on the honor system on that. Any such duplicate votes that I'm aware of or made aware of will not be counted.

6. I know that sometimes in these types of things there's an understandable tendency to vote for your friends rather than who you might think might have did the best job, so if you so desire, you can send me a PM with your votes in lieu of casting your vote in the comment section.

7. I reserve the right to not count sock account votes if someone gets a suspiciously large number of votes from sock accounts. Especially recently created ones. (Actually I may not count *any* sock account votes. I haven't decided yet. Mainly of course I want the voting to be fair with no ballot box stuffing)

8. I'm not sure at the moment how elaborate a results video I'll put together, but there's a possibility that I'll be using clips of your videos in my results video. So by entering my contest you are by default giving me permission to use portions of your video in my results video.

The prizes will be paid out via Paypal if you have a Paypal account. If you don't have a Paypal account you'll of course have to be willing to give me your address so I can send your prize money to you.
