It's amazing the difference in the quality of skating from our U.S. ladies team in one year's time. In 1990 Jill Trenary and Holly Cook took 1st and 3rd respectively at the World Championships. The very next year it was a USA sweep. I'm not knocking Jill's efforts but her 1990 LP doesn't compare to Kristi's performance in 1991.

Kristi's huge nemesis was the triple salchow. Kristi successfully did the triple salchow at the 1992 Nationals where she won her US Championship title!
