depends some pumps like that one is under pressure. in fact its called a tap because it is one.
a pump is a pump, you have to work the laws of gravity to pump the beer from under ground

Do American pumps pump the beer quicker than British ones? It seemed to take about 5 seconds to pull that pint.

Don't touch the top of the glass and dont let the glass touch the tap or sumerge the tap in the beer!

Guinness is a 45 degree pour filling about 3/4 of the pint glass then leaving to settle, when settle you top it off and give to the customer and let him/her wait for rest of the pint to settle
never fucking hold the top half of the glass when pouring beer.top half is for the customer and the bottom half is the bartenders'.....this chick just broke the first and simplest rule in bar work
