I am NEVER going to buy anything from Final Cut Pro again unless they go back to the original format. I am going to stay on the old Final Cut Pro and figure out a way to make it on new computers. WHY IN THE WORLD would I have to totally change everything I have learned for the past 10 years. Horrible! I can't believe I just now figured this out, yes I am very late, but how in the world am I supposed to make beautiful sound design and everything I have gotten used to my whole life of editing.

You think that Final Cut is the major editor for pro and indie? You MUST be joking. Although Final Cut has been used in major films, Avid is still the leader in hardware and software editing packages.

I sort of figured FCPX sucked from all the bad reviews but never would have guessed it was this bad. I have been on FCP off and on since its BETA stages in 1998. Bought my first blue G3 300mhz Mac with FCP 1.0 on it. Best $8K system I ever bought coming off a $100K AVID. I finally tried FCPX out and damn, that is the worst crap ever. I hate imovie badly and would rather use it than this crap. All I can say is maybe I will finally try out Premiere after nearly 14 years with FCP. Bummer.

Pro X is imovie on steroids! L A M E!!!! Migrated to Avid Media Composer! Took me 3 months to get use to it, but I know that Avid will be here for me! See ya FCPX.
