Selena: *saw Joe & Demi through the glass wall eating*
Miley: whats the matter? You look even more devastated.
Selena: *turns white*
Miley: *followed selenas gaze and saw them* I think its better if we go home.
Selena: *covered her face with her hands and cried*
Miley: *came closer* oh, sel---
Selena: *stops miley* no, let me get all of these out. *sobs*
Miley: *stares at her with pity*
Selena: *sobs then wipes her tears* *looked at Jemi sharply* Im not gonna be affected. Were not together anymore. Lets go. *gets out of the car*
Miley: you sure about this? We can eat at some other place.
Selena: no. this was your first choice.
Miley: *opens the door*
Demi: look whos here. *looks at miley & selena*
Joe: who? *turns and saw them*
Selena: *did not look at them* cmon, miley. * drags her to a table*
Miley: waiter, please!
Waiter: what would you like to order maam?
Selena: milkshake and? *looks at miley*
Miley: latte. Thatll be all. Thanks.
Waiter: ok. *leaves*
Selena: thats all? We could have stopped at a stand at the street to buy those.
Miley: I dont want to stay here any longer and neither do you so lets make it fast. *crosses her arms*
Selena: I can stay here anytime I want. I am not affected. *looks at Jemi and pouts*
Miley: yeah, right.
Selena: wait.
Miley: what?
Selena: why does joe have those bandages all over his head and fists?
Miley: *looks at him* Im surprised you can notice that considering how far he is from you and also, his back is on you.
Selena: stop it. I see things. *crosses her arms and looks away*
Miley: *looks at selena* just remember, Im always here for you.
Selena: I know that and Im glad about it. *grins*
Miley: wow. Thats a fake one.
Selena: I thought you wont figure that out. *chuckles*
Miley: *laughs* now thats a real one.
Joe: *recognized selenas laugh and turns to look at her*
Selena: *felt the stare* *looks at joe*
Joe: *decided to have a staring contest*
Selena: *accepted the challenge*
They stared at each other for 2 minutes.
Joe: *looks away*
Selena: *still staring*
Joe: *looks at her again then looks away* cmon demi, lets go.
Demi: arent you gonna finish youre food?
Joe: I dont feel like eating.
Demi: ok.
Selena: *still staring*
Joe: *opens the door for demi*
Demi: thanks. *gets out*
Joe: *looks at selena before closing the door*
Selena: *waited for the door to close before looking away*
Miley: *saw the whole thing* woah. That was an awkward moment.
Selena: *gets up* lets go.
Miley: what? Our orders havent arrived yet.
Selena: I said were going. *drags miley out of the restaurant*
NEXT DAY
Selena: *comes in the classroom*
Miley: selena! You missed the first period. Whats wrong?
Selena: *sits and looks down* I forgot he was not coming to walk with me to school.
Miley: what? You could have called me. I could have picked you up.
Selena: Im still adjusting.
Miley: you better do it fast.
Joe: *heard their conversation*
Nick: eavesdropping much?
Joe: *startled* what? Im at the back of her seat.
Nick: yeah. Whatever you say.
Cody: joe, are selena and you still together?
Joe: none of your business.
Cody: cmon. Tell me.
Joe: ok, ok. We broke up.
Selena: *turns to joe*
Cody:that was a dirty business for her to do*turns to selena*you are a little mean thing,huh?
Selena: *looks away*
Joe: *punches cody* dont you dare talk to her like that. You dont have any business with us. Stay out of this.
Cody: *steps back* ok, ok. I thought youre mad at her.
Joe: doesnt matter. *walks away*
AFTER SCHOOL
Miley: Im really sorry I cant drop you at your house. I have some tasks to do.
Selena: Im fine. Good luck.
Miley: thanks. Take care! *drives away*
Selena: *exhales* how am I gonna get home now?
Joe: *passes by*
Selena: *looks at him* joe!
Joe: *turns* what?
Selena: thank you.
Joe: for what?
Selena: for standing up for me.
Joe: I did not do that for you. I did it for myself. So, dont thank me. *turns away*
Selena: can we be friends? Just friends?
Joe: do me a favor selena.
Selena: what?
Joe: stay out of my life.
