Great article on Scott LaFaro: http://tinyurl.com/3zj6l7s
Scott LaFaro (bass) with Bill Evans (piano) and Paul Motian (drums) from the album "Portrait in Jazz."

Recorded December 28, 1959.

"Witchcraft" written by Carolyn Leigh and Cy Coleman

It's hard to believe that Scott LaFaro had only been playing the bass for 5 years when he made this recording! LaFaro was breaking some major ground and setting a new standard for all bassists after only 5 years of playing...Wow!

  • Hey this is great! Thanks for these bass clef sheets! Awesome!

  • Great!!!. Thanks for giving us jazz musicians and the world such a joy!.
