Battle of Gettysburg (East West Quantum Leap Orchestra)

These are photographs taken of the battle fields at Gettysburg during our visit in August of 2010. It was after visiting this sacred ground that inspired me to write this piece of music which is dedicated to all the Americans who fought and sacrificed their lives in the battle. The photographs are meant to capture all aspects of Gettysburg -- the vastness and beauty of the battlefields, the memorials that are scattered throughout the fields and the people who continue to visit this memorable place.

In addition, the music is a tribute to Randy Edelman who composed the theme to the 1993 movie "Gettysburg". If you listen closely, you can hear a quote from his Main Title.
