@robynnlucy that is depressing...no wonder they all end up crippled in the slaughterhouse.

@IronFreePony Its not sick, these people obviously know what they're doing, they've taken their time working/conditioning with him, and they're not jumping him over anything huge or overly complicated. The footing looks very good and if you've ever had a 3 year old stallion, you would know that they are way more likely to hurt themselves playing in turnout than jumping small fences, and they naturally jump around like that whilst playing. Why dont you go find a video of REAL animal cruelty...

Waaaay too young. You can do serious injuries.

Cadbury is a beautiful stallion. I knew him from one of the barns that I worked out. He's one nice boy!

that horse is a great jumper!!!!!

you back a horse around 2 nd a half ride it at 3 and begin jumping at 4 to 5 year old so the person riding te horse is doing the right thing... you have racehorses in the races at 1 and a half a weened of their mothers as early as 3/4 month
We will have more current footage of Cadbury to put up once he begins his next session of work as a 5 year old.

God it's sick that people will jump a 3 year old. He shouldnt even have a rider, and yet he's being jumped??
Money does terrible things to people...and horses.

Iron Free Pony: The video footage undersaddle O/F of Cadbury is in the spring of his 4 year old year. We have actually taken it very slowly with Cadbury, longelining, backing, then the winter off until he was 3. He has had lots of gmnastics, trail riding and free work with the winter of his 4yo year off. Before fencework, Michael Bragdell of Hilltop Farm spent time with Cadbury on Dressage basics.
