Quite possibly the most original and refreshing singer/songwriter of our generation, Matthew "Laban/Rain Man/Son of Laban" Levine took his semi-autistic, numerically-involved performance to the stage on April Fools Day, for the recital of the same name, which was held at Harris Theatre at George Mason University.
Some people consider this performance to be seminal in Matthew's hopefully long and fruitful career of creating painfully human songs that take the mundane details of everyday life as a music education major and paint a lush portrait of humanity with them.
Indeed, time will tell whether his career takes off after talent agents and A&R representatives view this video; or, conversely, they cannot fully appreciate the truly artistic and experimental nature that Matthew Levine embodies.
Either way, you are experiencing a momentous achievement in music history by viewing this video.
Enjoy.
