Forging with Full Press & Manipulator Integration with automatic control.
The video highlights Oilgear ability to have an integrated press/manipulator forging cell with a single operator. As can be seen in the video, the operator has no input requirements during the implementation of the pass-data other than minor adjustments to the peel-hoist for the manipulator to overcome any pick-up on the dies due to the length of the workiece.
Single Operator Forge Cells are commonly used on Oilgear systems for high production output requirements such as square and round bars. Shaped forgings typically require a cod for sighting and positioning the piece on the dies, however using the Oilgear integrated laser measurement system, this can also elliminate the need for manual sighting of the piece on the dies, as this operation can now also be performed automatically
