ensignjason - if I have go off the bank then I have to compete with all of those meat-fishing Vietnamese lowlifes that are all over the place. No thanks...I'll take the airboat any day.

Not sure how they would catch fish of any size with the crap gear he has. Dinks are about to snap those junk rods. If I was to pay for a guide I would at least want decent gear. You can catch better sized striper below the dam from the bank than what he is showing there.

dude i fish for striper off the bank of a peninsula at lake texoma
its best when its rainy but i catch 4+ pound striper constantly and a few sand bass here and there but its great even off of the bank.
but i have been with a guide once and i have to say that i caught a striper every time i dropped my pole in the water
