@AphoticLily To be specific, yuri and yaoi are the hardcore portrayals of gays and lesbian relationships. Shoujo-ai (girl love) and shounen-ai (boys love or "BL") are the more vanilla and politically-correct terminology. For example, two girls hugging and expressing affection towards each other would be shoujo-ai. But two girls [censored] and [censored] with a [censored] and lots of [censored] is hardcore yuri.

@suckapunch565 yuri is a japanese word for Lesbian. yaoi (i think that's how you spell it) means male homosexuality

@MemoryPhaseStudios I wouldn't be surprised. Any anime with a predominately female cast tends to have the "YURI" sticker on it. I read an artcle on the anime "K-ON" on an anime magazine, there, they labeled the show as a yuri anime. However, i watched it, and saw nothing yuri- related.

@suckapunch565 Can I point out that it won a contest over "Best Yuri Anime" even over Kannazuki no Miko, while still not being officially yuri? At least that is what I heard.
It's yuri. Just not officially. But the subtext is practically text.

@thepapercarousel I know what yuri means, I'm just saying which one was yuri-ish was the song about the love of a nother woman or does the anime have yuri tendencies? I'm just trying to find out because I never watched the anime before...

What? I edited the video to look yuri. That's why there's a yuri warning.
The anime is not yuri, its not even shoujo-ai (officially).
Why does the song even matter?
