During the final Kanikapila of the 3rd Annual Seattle Slack Key Festival, Mike Kaawa sings about a stubborn pet donkey named Mele. The song includes solos by some of the greatest ki ho`alu masters in Hawaii. On stage is Cyril Pahinui, Jeff Peterson, Sonny Lim (bass), Kawika Kahiapo, Mike Ka`awa, Kunia Pahinui-Galdeira (ukulele), Greg Sardinha (steel guitar) and Mark Yamanaka.
