From the LP "101 Strings Present Their Golden Oldies," issued on the Alshire label, serial number S-5285, 1973.

The 101 Strings Orchestra issued their first LP in 1957; by 1967, 101 Strings had sold over 50,000,000 records throughout the world.

"Days Of Wine And Roses" -- from the film of the same name -- was composed in 1962 by Henry Mancini, the lyrics by Johnny Mercer. Mancini and Mercer received the Academy Award for Best Original Song for their work. The best-known recording of the song was by Andy Williams in 1963.
