That being said, Point Pelee is probably the most unique park in all of Ontario. the boardwalk was interesting, the tip of the point was as well. I went back a few times on my own and had a wonderful time. No houseflies then.

  • My dad took my family to Point Pelee back in the seventies for the butterflies. What we wound up experiencing was an attack by gillions of houseflies. It was like something out of a bad science fiction movie. They were EVERYWHERE. In fact, they totally covered my dad's beard. We ran back to our van, closed all the windows, killed the flies and went to the marsh boardwalk instead. My family still laughs about that one.

  • Great pictures! So Many butterflies - gorgeous to see - thanks!
