I had a college deferment & a college deferment from the draft in 1968. Right after the Tet Offensive of the Viet Cong, the gov't took away my deferments, and I was drafted along with many college students. Most of us were opposed to the war, as was the public at large. We knew that war was business, and we were drafted to do the bidding of American oil, armaments & other big business. Our choice: go to battle or go to jail. Do not go along with this! Protest now! Go viral! Say no!

@AbtinX I heard that!

"you have internet and youtube becuz of u.s. killing machine"
Incorrect. We have these things because of the American taxpayer.
Be grateful that the American taxpayers don't pull the scum in Washington out of their offices and flog them to death like they need to be flogged.
Have a nice day.

Thye just passed $600 billion military budget recently. Failing economy? High unemployment? Who cares, lets expand the wars and the military. I can't help but feel U.S. will fall into the same state as former U.S.S.R.

not enough U.S. troops? Send in the Nukes. What will be the ramafications of that, besides turning Afghanistan into glass crater?

You are wrong. I think you will find he does understand perfectly.

silly of them to think their country was theirs lol.

The Vietnamese had actually taken their country back from the Japanese at the end of WWII, and actually thought that this gave them the right to run their own country - until the French, with US backing, decided to come back and take their old colony back.

You're not out of place at all. Politics are often too complicated for discussion in 500 characters or less. The governments of the world have interests that often are antagonistic to the needs of their own citizens.
I've been hearing about American atrocities for so long I'm just sick of the whole mess. I can't imagine how things would be here in Canada if the US were messing with my country the way they mess with yours.
That's just the way superpowers conduct themselves.

CNN and others reported that it costs $500,000 to put one troop on the front line for one year. So, take 45,000 troops times $500,000=$22,500,000,000. Wow, that's quite a number. No wonder this country is broke and for what purpose! It's such a joke. Wake up! We are broke and spending money like drunken sailors.
