@chanderson1 Please describe the issues you encountered with the Barnett bows. Barnett was the first choice on my list of bow manufacturers. Thanks.

@SaikouHD I am only familiar with Barnett Crossbows. I know their WildCats are easy to pull back without the aid of any cocking device. They are very simple to use and maintain also. Not sure about any other companies offerings.

I can see why they don't hunt bears with crossbows. Damn slow reload if you miss the heart or lungs. If you don't panic you would get a second shot with a bow, though I would carry a sidearm and plan to drop the bow if I missed.

@UltmtSniper Those are some great tips! I use to build them and in the test fire shooting range we had some mishaps but luckily nobody was hurt.

@SgtKimo09 Thanks! I would check out Excaliber crossbows. I've had a few issues with the Barnett crossbows.
