EfficientGovNow Round 2 Finalist - Grounds for Change

The EfficientGovNow program, through the Fund for Our Economic Future, aims to accelerate government collaboration and efficiency by providing as much as $330,000 in funding to collaborative government projects from throughout Northeast Ohio. Through the month of May 2010, the citizens of Northeast Ohio will vote on which of the 10 finalists will receive funding.

This project is a collaboration of the City of Youngstown, City of Campbell, City of Struthers, Austintown Township, and Lien Forward Ohio

The partners propose launching Mahoning Countys first regional land bank which will involve collaborating with participating communities to strategically acquire, maintain and rehabilitate vacant properties, eliminate blight and assemble parcels for future development.
