Old Top Gear from 1998
Jeremy Clarkson roadtests the BMW 3-Series E46 Saloon, the Toyota Avensis 1.8, the Audi A4 1.6, the BMW 3-Series 1.8i SE E36, the Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 CD and 2.5 V6, the Mondeo V6, the Peugeot 406, the Rover 600, the Citroën Xantia, the Subaru Legacy, the Volkswagen Passat, the Volvo S40, the Ford Mondeo 2.0, the Nissan Primera GT, the Alfa Romeo 156 and the Honda Accord 2.0 SE

The first review, the BMW 3-Series E46 was extracted from the episode that was first broadcast on the 26th February 1998. The second review, the review of the rest of the saloons was extracted from the episode that was first broadcast on the 5th March 1998

  • The silver BMW at 00:04 is a 328i Sport and is SORN. The silver BMW station-wagon at 00:16 is a 328i Touring automatic and is unlicenced. The blue Toyota at 07:16 is a 1.8 Avensis CDX and is still licenced. The sky blue Audi at 08:34 is a 1.8T Sport and is unlicenced. The Green/grey BMW at 08:45 is a 318i SE and is unlicenced. The Mondeo at 09:30 is a 2.5litre Ghia X and has been unlicenced since Sept 2008. The 406 at 09:36 is 2litre SRI Turbo, been unlicenced since Feb 2009. You're welcome :)

    Best Citroens ever made.

    Been driving one (18i :16V) for 7 yrs and 140.000 km's and regret that they don't make them anymore
