Led Zeppelin classic performed by 100 (classical) guitarists during a gala concert in Almere, The Netherlands, on May 17th, 2009. Based on an arrangement by Don King. Soloists: Izhar Elias (guitar) and Erik Borgraaf (recorder). Conductor: Peter Constant.
Maybe no need for 100, 20 or something would be enough. 3 is definitely not enough to make it so powerful

As much as I enjoy classical guitar and so many people playing it, I still believe there is absolutely no need to have 100 guitarists to form an "orchestra" or call themselves such. It sounds too frantic and disorganized. What would really be cool is to have an actual orchestra play this. I've heard one person play this piece, in its entirety, much better than this group. I'm sorry, but don't quit your day jobs.

I imagine the logistics of putting this together were taxing on the person who was in charge of this. I won't give him too much credit, because it was probably that this is an accessible piece that made this possible, thus ironic. It makes me sad that 100 guitars doesn't really sound that cool. They should have dropped about 88 of them and sent them to work at a soup kitchen, because people need food more than they need to hear Led Zeppelin. The radio is free, but it doesn't fill your stomach.
