I quit going to the Guad because of the drunks and Cops.
The Frio or Perdanales Falls is just about as nice with much fewer drunks and police.

South Guad is dirty as hell TOO much drunk people and trash. Theres no comparison between the north and south Guad. Its pathetic what has happen south of the dam.

@movadoband Well ,thank you for your civic minded effort to help protect our natural resources.I am a member of GRTU and also volunteer my time to help keep the rivers healthy,but unfortunately,for every one person like you and I there are hundreds,maybe even thousands of drunken idiots like this who only abuse this natural treasure.I live very close to the river and understand that the summer tourist season is our life blood,I only wish these folks were better stewards of the environment.

@flyfish1995 Actually we have Work On River Day (word) every year, we turn the river off at the dam and volunteers walk the river and clean every bit of trash in sight, good people in these parts.
