I recommend watching the high quality version...
This was my first animation. I made it a few months ago now, but it's taken me forever to get it online. It was a bit of a rush job.
From idea to finished article the whole thing took about four weeks to make, and about eight days of that was actual animation (I sort of underestimated how long it would take ... won't do that again). That was done on a crap lightbox I made out of an old transparent toy box and a light bulb fixture I had cobbled together. I didn't have a pegbar (as you can probably see with all the drifting and shifting that's going on over there) so I held everything together with masking tape.
I pieced it all together using final cut. The sound's kind of all over the place. The levels are spiky and ridiculous and there are still some remnants of the scratch track in there because I didn't have time to record what I really needed to. I thought about coming back and editing this later, but I've decided that the best thing I can do with this is learn from it as a project and move on to better things and apply all that to new work, rather than pick at old stuff and not move on.
So yes. First animation. More will join this one in the future.
Really nice work :) :) amazing for a first animation too (from an also animator) ;)

That's sweet of you to say, but I'm sure you'll make an awesome animator if you want to. Glad you like what I've done so far.
