If you're measuring success Sarah wins. Yes Charice has guestings here and albums in the US but the album didn't that well considering that minimum sales to be considered a success here in the US is 100k in the first week alone and platinum is 1 million sold. Sarah has accomplished more by just staying where she is loved, the Philippines. Considering voice, Sarah still wins. Charice just has a higher range but Sarah has a well crafted voice.

@sam888ization You should be proud of all Filipino artists who make their own marks in the industry.. . Charice's talent may have beenn given the chance in the US but she has yet to make her own mark there, perhaps a walk of fame?.. Sarah is already successfull in the Philippines . Kanya kanya lang area yan . They are both excellent singers. Bashing of other artists wont help your idol's career you know. Instead, baka makainisan lng ng ibang fans .

People think just because you make it to the US or release an album here makes you an automatic success. No not really. Besides Glee most my foreign friends don't even Charice even released an album.

@78applemac How can my analysis be wrong? Besides living in the US I follow billboard and iTunes charting a lot. Charice has sold less than 100 thousand copies of her albums. It was never certified anything. 500 thousand is gold here and 1 million copies sold is platinum.

@78applemac I meant to say it never made any impact on radio AirPlay here in the US. And it NEVER charted in the main Billboard chart.

@78applemac Really? I live in the US too and I listen to local radios here in California all the time as well as buy my songs off of iTunes. Besides Charice's single Note To God, I barely saw Pyramid crack the top 100 on iTunes main charts. And it never in the top 50 on Billboard Hot 100, which is the main chart.
