I've seen a amtrak train stopping at the Palm Springs Station last sunday when I'm going home that night.

Luck is exactly what it was. He passed right in front of me as I was about to get on the 10 freeway, so the chase was on. I paced him all through the yard at Colton but he got held back at Colton crossing, but not for long. I arrived at the station with about 10 minutes to spare to unpack both cameras and set up my shots.
