Practically any car can do that. In fact, you could physically push it yourself so there's no surprise that a small car can pull a 700-1000kg caravan on a flat surface. A 125cc moped could probably do it too. (with a fat guy sat on the back) The real test comes when climbing hills.

Oh wow, lets see that again in slo-mo...

cant believe anyone is taking this as serious, I actually once used a pug 106 to move my 26" avondale on the drive, yeah it towed it but thats it, get it on a road with a bit of side wind and it would be by by citroen. The caravan should be no more than 100% of the cars weight, in the UK 85% is recommended so the citroen doesnt even qualify for a braked trailer i am afraid.....

niet slecht ax die dingen kunnen wel wat
Can't believe such a small car is towing that van. We have a 432 PX in Australia. Tows well with 4 litre Falcon. Be buggered if I'd tow it with a mini.

It was a test if the AX could handle it, and yes it does. Even with a dead clutch disc.
few weeks later the clutch disc was replaced by a new one and tha AX is still going strong.

That's good, Citroen handles well?. How does it perform in towing the van in road conditions?. Thanks.

Well the normal car that towing the caravan is a Volkswagen Golf Plus 1.9 TDI.
The AX did it for fun.
