This was an excellent performance of a difficult piece.
We all should also stop judging performers by what they look like physically, and more by how well they play the music that they are performing for us, the listeners.

@CamilleSeoul I meant that she is good!!!! have you no shame!!!!!!geez......
-
@suchoi1958 and I happen to think she is cute lol not that it matters... then do you think yo yo ma is handsome? or that it's in anyway relevant?
-
@suchoi1958 no, that's not right at all. I'm also korean and I know yo yo ma is much more well known in korea. also ms chang is an amazing musician as is also yo yo ma and it is meaningless to say who is better than whom by arbitrary standards. they are very different and individual musicians.

Beethoven was deaf and moody. Mozart was a freak. Rachmaninov had huge hands. Paganini had chronic illnesses.
The true classical music lover does not expect physical or character perfections, hell no, he/she demands it! Who wants to see a pretty face with such a piece? It insists on unattractiveness. In any case... aren't we supposed to look at the handwork more than the face?
I love Han-na's music. I listen to her virtuosity coming through in all her performances. My favourite cellist.

@suchoi1958 Have you no shame??? I'm korean. I think she is beautiful. And Yoyoma is one of the best plyer. Why we have to compare Jang and Yoyoma? Chaque musicien a son talent exstraordinare.

the guy who plays the horn!! is handsome :D

I love the interpretation of this piece, but when I look at her with the close up on her face, I'm not sure if she's in labor or having an orgasm. Nonetheless she gives a great interpretation of the piece.

i think classical music is all about interpritation
each musician has there on way of doing things and playing style
thats why u have famous conduters and soloists, its about how they choose to interprit the music they are either conduting or performing
I dont think it is fair to compare on musician with another, of course we know that Shostakovich wrote it for Rostropovich and so understandably he will be the first person you think of when you hear this. I think that once you hear a recording of a piece for the first time you think 'yes that is how it should be played' and then you hear another version and think 'no this is wrong' I think each muscian brings their own touch and anyone who can play something like this shoule be admired.

She plays well, but her cello sounds like it has a head cold.
