This MAD is from Nico Nico and the song is "Meltdown" by the Vocaloid character Rin Kagamine. It is not the shiniest subtitling job ever, and it's the first video I've ever actually subtitled myself.
English lyrics were adapted from those translated by Marimo. I could not find this person, so if you are Marimo and you would like me to remove this because of adapting your lyrics without permission, I will.

What program did you use to make the subtitles?
There's a Germany/Prussia video I wish to add subtitles to, but I don't know what program to use. : /

I use a few actually. I used Subtitle Workshop to make the subtitles and make sure they fit as they should on the video, then used AutoGK/Auto Gordian Knot to put the subtitles onto the AVI.
You may have to play around with the subtitle code yoruself depending on how you want them to look, but it's like editing HTML codes.
