I do not know. You have to check your local and state laws. I don't know anyone in Oregon who is keeping a capybara.

this is the first time that I see Capybara as a pet! It's cool! It doesn't exist Capybaras in Spain except in the zoos

They are only very rarely kept as pets in the US also. I think that in some parts of their range it is more common to see them as pets--at least that's what I've read although I've never seen any actual evidence to support that.

They sell capybaras at the pet shop :P I've always thought about getting one.

Really? That's weird that your pet store sells them. A capybara is a big responsibility but well worth it if you have the time and space.
