Trackside HD - SP 4449: Owosso - Alma, MI 7/24/09

On Thursday and Friday, July 24 & 25, in conjunction with Trainfest in Owosso, Michigan, Southern Pacific 4449 led a 16-car excursion train out Alma and back again. The train is depicted here in high definition on the Friday trip departing Owosso, curving under Hwy 127 at Ithaca, and unloading passengers at Alma. The locomotive was turned on the wye at Alma and is seen coming off the wye before backing down to couple onto the train for the return trip. The video concludes with a photo run at Ithaca before the train passes under Hwy 127 on the way back to Owosso.
