Steven,I remember a few times when you would guess DJ for Alex Bennet when he got sick and could'nt make it in. Man,you would play some off the wall blues or rockabilly music that no body has heard since 1955 playing outta a Tulsa tavern.
Alex the next day would ask Lori Thompson ''the sponsers hav'nt dropped us right?''

I'v seen you do comedy back in the Quaker days ''thats the Quake Fm radio days with Alex Bennet in the 80's.Miss those riffs with you and Slayton and Warren Thomas, on the air with Alex. Verbs and adjitives flying around the room faster than Barbara Edens blink.
Still one of the only comics that can make me laugh! His comedy is original and not a reproduction of any kind''as they say on Ebay'

Well, I'll be doing the same thing without Alex on Sunday night on KPOO at 10PM, so listen in! ALex can be heard mornings on SIRIUS radio and I call into his show now and then. We're still here and we ain't going away!

Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, I'm still doing stand up and you can see some on my Myspace site as well as checking out my appearances. I recently relocated to the Bay Area and I'll be on KPOO 89.5 FM outta San Fransico on Sunday, June 7th from 10PM - 1AM PST playing a lot of cool old music you usually don't hear on the radio and I'll be my usual irrespressable self, so tune in and call the censors! You can hear the show on the KPOO site as well.

My entertainment fantasy - Steven Pearl opening for Johnny Winter, with Edgar appearing for 3 encores. It'd be a tough room, but Steve could pull it off without attracting any glass or produce, no sweat. VERY funny man! Julie there is stunning, I am compelled to add. Funny, too.

Thanks! That's my entertainment fantasy too! I've opened for Johnny a couple of times and it went great and Edgar came out to see me perform a few years ago. Just saw Edgar this weekend and the ol' boy knocked it outta the park and then some. And yes, Julie is stunning and a triple sweetheart.
