  • Best sounding of all your vids. Playing the same, or close to the same riff on each pickup setting really gets across the tonal character of each position ... nice bite on the bridge, Dickey B sweet middle & bell tone neck ... nice for the pristine clean & the OD has just enough juice to get those PU's singing but can still hear their voices ... not turning it all to violin tone. The best bang 4 buck PAF tone fo sho ! Great job !!

  • @washit1st Thanks for your comments! Doug really loved playing this guitar.

  • The delay on this video was added via Garage Band.

  • So Doug What is your Favorite or can you even chose 1 they all have their own Unique sound that stamps out a Signature

  • Ok Doug u can turn that dubbed Bonamassa trak ur piksincking to off ^ LOL JK Awsome Thumbing Bro.

  • And that's without a OD pedal? Sick, sick, sick. And the clean tone. It's so nice to hear some blues from and SG other than ACDC! LOL!

  • @washit1st Yep, it sounds wonderful. What pups are in it? I own a 04' SG Standard and I could not get into the 490r 490t pups at all. I dig paf's so I dropped in a set of 57' classics, orange drop caps, cts pots, tone pros bridge and tail. And it sounds so close to a custom shop it's scary.Obviously, I did a lot work to her but when you get members from other bands going that Sg sounds sick! That's so cool.It rivals my LP Traditonal and I love that guitar to no end. Rock on!

  • Man, it sounds like the mike was attached directly to the neck ... you can hear the slightest subtleties of tone in the string bending and attack ... phrasing is so sweet ... 5 star demo !

  • digging that one, a vintage screamer that one is.

  • What's this great delay I hear in all these videos?
